This car is in very nice cosmetic shape. It also runs and drives very well. It is now (04/05/04) a solid #3 driver. The car is one of the most completely equipped DeLuxe & 8's that I have ever seen. It is Black (older repaint) with a light beige, fine whipcord, wool interior (original). The chrome is original and although very presentable is not show quality. The underbody and frame of the car is in good #3 condition. Shined up and cleaned it can be taken to cruise nights and local shows just the way it stands. It has had its brakes repaired. It has had a complete tune up and fluid change. As you can see from the pictures, the car is very presentable. The front floor boards have small rust through by the door pillars (currently covered by the rubber flooring and easily repairable). The engine runs strong and quiet. The transmission shifts correctly and has no unusual noises. The overdrive, electric clutch and vacuum-matic shifting mechanisms are unknowns. The radio works but is intermittent (tubes?).
