Description
PLEASE SERIOUS INQUIRIES ONLY!! Price recently lowered to 25.5K. The following is my best description of the car. Improvements have been made since these pics were taken. I have only had the car about a year. Car has a VIN number but not registered yet. Will be registered as a kit car. It is a 1986 Lamborghini Countach Replica. The body is fiberglass and was made by American Fiberglass bodies, now out of business. As far as bodies go this was one of the best made. It is to exact Lambo specs. Glass is original with the exception of the rear glass in front of the air scoop. Windows operate but are not hooked up. Doors are manual release from the inside and auto pop release by controller on key chain. Inside door jams have been painted red since these pictures and sills installed. Has wiper but motor not hooked up. Lights work but auto flipper motors are not hooked up. Manual flipper works fine. Interior is fine. Gas gauge and speedo do not work due to no speedo cable and no tank float. Temp gauge works, tack works, lights work including flasher, signals, headlights, parking lights. The car never sees ugly weather. Has radio, CD, back up camera. The frame is custom made 3ml tubular to Lambo specs. The frame needed some welding improvements and I had them done by a local welding shop, $1700 worth. It is not a Fiero frame. The ugly piece you see behind the car is gone. Tranny was remounted correctly on new framework. Then I had the wheel bearings, alignment, and balancing, new coil over shocks ($1000) and other suspension parts that it needed. ($2400) New exhaust tips added. The motor. It’s a 305 V8, bored 30 over with a mild cam, sounds mean. I was told less than 100 miles on the motor. I haven’t even got to it yet but it seems strong. Starts and runs good. Tranny is good, has a B&M automatic shifter that I’m not crazy about but some folks love them. Car has original Lamo cooling, three radiators which also work manually with switches inside. There is a radiator mounted under each air scoop as original's are. I haven’t seen the car overheat at all. Like I said I haven’t driven the car much more than 70 miles to the welder, mechanic and gas station in the past few months and then the bad weather came. But I can say this car is AMAZING to drive anywhere. It is a magnet and draws people to you with kids, cameras, questions, waves, smiles, open mouths going down the road. I get a crowd when I park it in my driveway. If you have a business, it will definitely MAKE THEM STOP. Unfortunately I can not keep this car at this time. So here’s the low down on price. I paid 25K, and 1.7K to ship it to me. Then 1.7K for the welding and 2.5K for all the mechanical work and parts. So I’m into it for $31K+. These cars even though they are kits, can run up to $60k for a nice car. This one is about 10-12K away from that. Or leave it as is and wait for someone to want it because they will… The car is a kit-car but probably one of the nicer ones. I have some old paper work from previous owners back in 93. Car originally out of Pocono PA. The Lambo is not new (looks new), it's not a luxury sedan or an all season car. It's old school mechanics, points, plugs condenser.. Edlebrock carb, caddy transmission. To me its fun working on it, making it the way I want it. I'm 50, and it's the coolest car I've ever been in no doubt. The kits with V8's are taking more than a Fiero frame and V6 motor. Its a car to have fun in, two seater and low. It stops traffic and is absolutely a kick to watch the reactions of others. NOT why I bought the car but it is fun.
