This vintage Cadillac has the original numbers matching 7.0 L engine made up of a massive 429 cubic inch cast iron block with overhead valves which is rated at 340hp. It is mated to a smooth shifting Hydra-Matic Turbo 400 transmission. Standard options on this beauty included power brakes, power steering, automatic transmission, dual backup lights, windshield washers with dual speed wipers, full wheel disc hub caps with rear fender skirts, remote controlled outside rear view mirror, visor vanity mirror, oil filter, heater, defroster, luggage lamps, glove box lights, rear passenger compartment lights, cornering lights as well as front and rear seat belts. This classic is 224 inches of American steel with a 129 inch wheel base providing the classic Cadillac smooth ride. 1965 saw the first year of the Calais replacing the Series 62. This North Carolina car has been repainted in the original gorgeous (code 20) Hampton Blue Poly that shows well as do the bright chrome bumpers, moldings and trim that adorn this magnificent car. The interior is in excellent condition and completely original as are the trunk and engine compartments.
